Mr. and Mrs. Jack & Nadia Pakravan,

In celebration of Israel’s 60th anniversary, Mr. & Mrs. Jack & Nadia Pakravan graciously opened up their beautiful Los Angeles home to 100 guests to host an event in honor and support of the Israel Air Force Center Foundation. Following a tour of the IAF Center and Hatzor Air Force Base during a family trip to Israel in the winter of 2007, Jack and Nadia felt the important need to support the IAF Center, in all that it does to strengthen the next generation of Israel’s soldiers and leaders.
Lt. Colonel Ranaan Shalach, an active fighter pilot in the Israel Air Force was the honored guest speaker for the evening. Lt. Cl. Shalach shared an informative IAF footage slideshow of Israel’s war against terror and the struggles the IAF and Israel are facing each day. Guests also had the opportunity to view the emotional Fly -Over Auschwitz DVD which shows the IAF flying over the camps of Auschwitz in 2003, during a memorable visit by the IAF.
As Lt. Cl. Shalach so eloquently stated, “As one united Jewish nation, we should all raise our heads proudly at the success of Israel's military and technological advancements and achievements.” We salute Jack and Nadia for their generosity and support and for helping us celebrate along with their community, the State of Israel’s 60th anniversary.

Mr. and Mrs. Dan & Wendy Moskowitz,
May 18th
On Sunday, May 18th, our long time supporters, Wendy and Dan Moskowitz opened up their home in Rye, NY to help us celebrate Israel’s 60th anniversary along with their good friends and co-hosts, Martine and Stanley Fleishman.
Our esteemed guest speaker for the evening was Lt. General Dan Haloutz, who served as both Israel Air Force Commander and IDF Chief of Staff during his impressive career in Israel’s military. Lt. General Haloutz shared with our guests his personal insights of Israel’s security and defense. He assured us that, “despite the many conflicts and continued threats from Israel’s neighboring countries, Israel is strong, safe and independent.” The intimate crowd of friends and colleagues also had the opportunity to enjoy an enlightening Q&A session with Lt. Haloutz, who was happy and honored to answer each question.
As a token of our appreciation for their generosity and support for the Israel Air Force Center, our hosts were presented with an autographed copy of the Foundation’s recent publication of IAF Milestones; Heroes and Legends. This informative book is autographed by various IAF notable heroes and included the addition of Lt. General Dan Haloutz’s signature, who signed his name at the event.
