The research will address long and short term challenges on the issue of cooperation between the air force and the ground units in the "Close Air Support Missions".  It will initially be directed toward IDF efforts to strengthen its status as a leading organization and thus restoring its deterrence.  The research will also be shared with various organizations.

Tactical Space: Micro-satellites and Aerial Launching

Satellites, working together in constellations on low earth orbit, provide continuous cover of targets on earth, launched on demand from military or civilian aircrafts, on a moment’s notice. Micro satellites are the tool to enhance Israel's deterrence and therefore further in-depth research is needed to improve and upgrade this important technology.

Provide solutions to problems in emergency medicine, medical practice and air evacuation, diseases and other phenomena specifically relating to air and space.  The Endowment fund requested will cover 2 annual studies for the coming 5 years.

"Golden Hour" Medical Rescue
Study

The need to reach, recover and rescue wounded soldiers within a one-hour time frame, the IAF and IDF medical rescue teams are trained in the “Golden Hour”. The Center is seeking to immediately establish a multi-discipline research team to find applicable solutions that can improve the survival rate of our war casualties.
